Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and CognyQuest for Spot Royale and cognyquest.com. By playing or using the site you accept them. If you downloaded the game from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the extent these terms do not cover something.

1. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Spot Royale for your own non-commercial entertainment. The game, its art, characters and content remain ours or our licensors'.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are personal — do not sell, share or transfer them. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to play.

3. Virtual items and purchases

• Coins, gems, cards, chests, emotes, Spot Pass tiers and other virtual items are a limited licence to use content in the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money and cannot be transferred or sold outside the game.
• Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Refunds are handled by them as described in our help center, except where the law gives you other rights.
• Odds for randomised rewards are published in the wiki.
• We may change, rebalance or retire items and features to keep the game fair and fun.

4. Fair play

Follow the fair-play rules. No cheats, bots, modified clients, exploiting bugs, or abusive names and behaviour. We may remove rewards gained unfairly and suspend or close accounts that break the rules.

5. Your content

You keep rights to what you submit (for example your player name or a support message) and give us permission to use it to run the game and support you. Names must not be offensive or impersonate others.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Spot Royale available but cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or eventually discontinue the game; if we discontinue it we will give reasonable notice in the game.

7. Ending the agreement

You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

8. Liability

The game is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of virtual items except where caused by our fault. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where CognyQuest is established, without taking away protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.
